EDUCATIONAL LECTURE SERIES - 2025
In support of our educational mission; to promote central Ohio's rich local and regional history, the G.W. Adams Educational Center is pleased to present a series of informative and thought provoking lectures by area experts and scholars, examining various aspects and events in Ohio's past.  Support for this series is provided in part by the generous support of the Ohio Humanities Council, a state affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities, and our good friends at the Dresden Branch Library of the Muskingum County Library System.

In partnership with our friends at the Dresden Branch Library of the Muskingum County Library System, the G.W. Adams Center at Historic Prospect Place Estate welcomes author Sarah Harper, who will be presenting a fun discussion on Ohio's canal system.  Coincidentally, Sarah's presentation marks the 200th anniversary of the building of the Ohio - Erie Canal.  Learn how the canal changed Muskingum County, bring opportunity and prosperity to its residents.  This presentation is free and open to the public.
