The G. W. Adams Educational Center, Inc., is an IRS designated 501(C)(3)non-profit organization.  Contributions to the center are TAX DEDUCTIBLE under Section 107 of the Internal Revenue Code. 

Our current Public Charity Status is:

The purpose of the Center is: 
 

  • To preserve and restore the Prospect Place mansion and grounds for future generations.
  • To promote education regarding the Underground Railroad of the 19th century, the involvement in that organization by George Willison Adams and his home, Prospect Place. 

  • To promote the history of agriculture in this region.

  • To promote the history of Native American presence in the Muskingum River Valley area.

Donations from individuals are always welcome and as we are a 501c (3) charity, these donations are fully tax deductible. Please help us reach out to the future while teaching the past. Donations may be sent to:

Cash donation of more than $2000.00 must be made via USPS certified mail or in person.

After we receive your donation you will be sent via U. S. certified mail a receipt you may use to deduct the amount of your donation from your taxes.
