The G. W. Adams Educational Center, Inc., is an IRS designated 501(C)(3)non-profit organization. Contributions to the center are TAX DEDUCTIBLE under Section 107 of the Internal Revenue Code.

The purpose of the Center is:
- To preserve and restore the Prospect Place mansion and grounds for future generations.
To promote education regarding the Underground Railroad of the 19th century, the involvement in that organization by George Willison Adams and his home, Prospect Place.
To promote the history of agriculture in this region.
To promote the history of Native American presence in the Muskingum River Valley area.
To these ends the center sponsors the following programs:
Tours, seminars and lectures about the Underground Railroad.
Lectures, seminars and agriculture related shows.
We are always looking for ways to support these worthwhile programs. We actively pursue State, Federal and private grants. Proceeds from tours and Ghost Investigations are used to further these programs as well.

Cash donation of more than $2000.00 must be made via USPS certified mail or in person.
After we receive your donation you will be sent via U. S. certified mail a receipt you may use to deduct the amount of your donation from your taxes.
