There are many places and buildings in the Muskingum/Coshocton
county area which are of great historic significance that are not marked in any
way. Help us in erecting historic markers at these locations so the past
is not forgotten. As funds become available the G. W. Adams Educational
Center will have markers made and placed at historic sites around the two county
area. We will work with property owners, local and state governments to
get these markers erected.
You can help in two ways:
1. If you know of a historic site that needs a marker
please contact us so we may add it to the list.
2. Donate: Funds for markers will come from various
sources but your help would be instrumental. You may donate money for this
project by calling 740 -754-1814. All donation are TAX DEDUCTIBLE
under section 501(C)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

The Trinway Methodist Church
The Union School, Dresden
The Triple Locks at Dresden
The side cut basin and aqueduct embankments at Dresden
The side cut canal at Websport (intersection of Raiders Road and
Bottom Road)
The Trinway School (Currently Schneider's Garage).
The former location of the Adams Brothers Mill at Adams Mills
The Edward Adams House, Adams Mills
The Township Hall, Muskingum Township
The home currently owned by Charles Downer, Newcomerstown
The former site of the Trinway railway station
Both former railway stations at Dresden
The Adams Center will also work to have historic sites listed
on the National Register of Historic Places, maintained by the National Park
Service, if those places are not already on the register.
