The Board of Directors are currently accepting applications for new members. If you are interested in becoming a Board member please submit a resume in person, by mail or e-mail. Please include why you believe you would be an asset to the G. W. Adams Educational Center. Persons who are employed by the Center, a contractor to the Center or an employee of a contractor to the Center are not eligible. Applicants must be available for quarterly meetings. Applicants must meet certain requirements to obtain a seat on the Board of Directors. Among these are: Be able to attend at least one of the four quarterly meetings and one mandatory meeting per year. Be sponsored for Board membership by at least two active Board members. Applicants must have either a minimum 4 year college degree or acceptable life experience applicable to the mission of the G. W. Adams Educational Center. (College degrees in education, history and computer science preferable. Life experience should include a career associated with history, education, farming and civil rights work).
